JACKSON, Tenn. (WKRC) — A Tennessee man accused of raping an infant has been arrested years after his indictment, say police.

Isiah Hayes, 27, has been wanted on charges of aggravated child rape, conspiracy to commit aggravated child rape and especially aggravated solicitation of a minor since 2020, reports WMC. The victim was only 9 months old at the time of the crime.

Police in Jackson, Tennessee, announced Hayes had been arrested by the department's Major Crimes Unit and U.S. Marshals on Friday after being alerted by the Memphis Police Department that he had been traveling in Jackson for several days. Investigators tracked him to a housing complex where officers spotted him in a doorway.

These are the fact patterns that tempt me to flip my position on capital punishment.

These fucking people who bring their dogs everywhere should be shot to begin with.Let alone leaving them locked in a vehicle. It's disgusting. if they are so emotionally stunted that they cannot survive a trip to the store without having their dog with them, they've got big problems.

Dogs are pack animals, and they want to go with you everywhere you go.

This did not become "a thing" until about ten years ago. This is about owners. i never saw a dog in a store or a restaurant until about ten years ago. they absolutely should not be going everywhere people go.

This has been a thing since before anyone on this board was born. The relative absence of pets in restaurants was because of laws banning it having been passed. Once that loosened up with the emotional support pet loophole, more people started bringing them.

I don't ever remember seeing it anywhere when I was growing up, not just restaurants.

Emotional support loophole is absolute trash.
I don't support laws banning dogs.I just will simply not go anyplace that i know allows them indoors unless I don't have much choice like at my car dealership. There is someone who works there who brings his dog to work and lets it roam around loose and run up to everybody. Problem is you don't usually know until you enter a store whether they allow animals to run around the store. If you have a dog or cat cafe or what have you where your entire business model is based on having loose animals roaming around inside your business, then that's different.

It used to be everywhere. Laws were passed and changed that a lot.

Yes

There's no reason well behaved animals should be legally barred from establishments that aren't open food establishments (i.e. indoor restaurants, grocery stores). If a private owner wants to ban them, or to allow them, that should be their choice.
