Once you set expectations, you need a Super Bowl ring or everyone thinks you’re a fag.

You really need a Super Bowl ring if you’re an NFL Quarterback.

If you don’t have one, everyone thinks you’re gay.

Tom won his first immediately so it wasn’t even an issue going into season #2, then two seasons later he was a permanent fixture of the GOAT debate.

If Burrow won that Super Bowl against the Rams, after beating Mahomes in Arrowhead in the AFC Championship game, he would be on another level right now, possibly going to Canton. People would actually take him seriously.

Instead he lost, so very obvious gay.

If he fades away in a few years he’s slightly better than Marcus Mariota, with a worse playoff record than Mark Sanchez. The guy people call “the best pocket passer in the league.”

If Jim Kelly won four Super Bowls in a row, most people probably have him ranked greater than Joe Montana, and HE would have been the one fighting off the Tom Brady cometh comparisons. AFC East would just be the Division of GOAT quarterbacks. A Divisional Legacy, #1 for the Patriots, #2 for Buffalo.

Instead, somewhere in the universal fabric of Einstein’s Spacetime, a dude turned to another dude while literally bagging groceries and said, “Jim Kelly? What a fucking loser.”

The Patriots had 3 rings the first four seasons with Tom. Think about how important it is to leave a mark early if you want to make some real noise, like Brady, like Mahomes.

Teams of grown men were looking at Brady’s Patriots in pre-game awe before Tom even hit his prime.

Mahomes succeeded early and he’ll probably at least finish with one more ring, even if it takes awhile. Nobody wants to play him in the playoffs, no matter the record. You’re stupid to.

If you don’t win early, not only are you a fag, and nobody takes you seriously, but you aren’t set up well to leave a decisive mark on the game.

People claim Elway “went out on top,” but I don’t remember that at all. I was like 13 and I remember looking at him like a pity case who got stomped repeatedly in the Super Bowl, had a bunch of pathetic media-people giving him Super Bowl sympathy for being gay, then got carried to a happy ending by Terrell Davis.

That’s the difference between winning super bowls and being gay.

He doesn’t even really appear in Top 10 lists anymore.

Anyway, point of thread: Drake Maye seriously needs to shock the world and win the Super Bowl this year.

All of Peyton Manning’s biggest fanboys in the media were seriously starting to think he was gay until 2006.

Mahomes went to OT against Brady after throwing a shit ton of touchdown passes, then wom his first Lombardi the next year.

Nobody in media even suspected he was gay until Tom destroyed him in Super Bowl LV.

While Drake Maye has no ring, all of his talents and assets will be just a Patriots attraction as far as the world is concerned.

With a ring they become things a star-struck Chris Collinsworth warns the audience he’ll destroy your soul and end your season with.
