By the way, for anyone who isn’t aware, all of the work that the owner of that place describes doing for the good of the board is not as labor-intensive as he makes it out to be. Don’t kiss his ass for it. My Mexican brother made most of the changes to this board in a single day. Most of the shit he implements takes him maybe 30 minutes to an hour. I’m eternally grateful because I’m sure as shit not a coder, but I migrated this board to Xenforo ON MY FUCKING CELL PHONE.

Nah, I was gone when I got locked out of the “War” thread because I was the only one Ian was asking to stop talking about politics in a thread that, last I checked, was political. The post may still be there, but I asked him in the nicest possible way to ram that request up his ass. So he booted me. I took it to PM with Dingle (who I think got booted before I did) and showed him examples of PeePee2 and some of the other dorks whose names I cannot remember posting shit way more political. Stuff that had nothing to do with the war itself, even. He didn’t care.

So anyway, I pretty much knew I was done and, when the golden ticket presented itself, I just said “fuck it.” Keep in mind that this was a man I PM’d the day my first daughter was born to share pics and get advice from. @Tony2046 was in that PM, too. Then, after I was gone, I learned that apparently I had always been a problem. Wish he would have shared that with me. Meh. Shit happens. I’d never be friends with someone who legitimately resembles a weasel in real life anyway. Wouldn’t be caught dead with him. If one of my friends saw me with him at a bar or whatever, I’d deny knowing him.

I was planning to leave there in the offseason anyway, but gave him a reason to release me from my contract there. I’m happy with the result. He, apparently, is not.

Not that my opinion matters but I never thought you were particularly controversial or troublesome. Certainly not compared to posters like Real World who I absolutely loathed. The PoFo was a hot mess with crap mods but getting rid of it was an unforced error.

I lurked there for a minute after I was banned but I hadn’t been there in months until the migration announcement, which Ian makes it sound like working in the coal mines, was brought to my attention. I had to laugh at how much detail he went into about it.

Meh ... When the POFO was shut down it was a sign. Then the GDT kicks that were never justified, and the War thread became polarized (really, that surprised anyone) and Mods shilled one set of views over all others.

Even moves like a dedicated Brady thread, in a sub-forum, became an issue since those who lived there were so easily offended. But, ginies were hurt, parrots squawked ... Can't have that, right?
