Mack Hollins has been an awesome surprise for this team both as a culture setter and as a viable bigger receiver in this offense. He also had arguably one of the plays of the day yesterday with the outstretched leaping grab.
With that said it's worth noting that over the last 3 weeks he's been targeted 18 times for a grand total of 94 yards. In that same span Diggs, Douglas, Williams, and Boutte have combined for 24 targets for 288 yards.
For a passing game as explosive as the Patriots have been at times he's been getting close to #1 type volume over the back half of the season after being a once or twice a game type target for the first 7 weeks of the season. This is someone who has never had 400 yards in a non-Josh McDaniels offense. He's been our most targeted wide receiver since week 9.
Granted Hollins plays in 12, 22, 21 and 13 personnel sets which juices his snap counts and makes him run more routes. Still, it feels like we need to focus on getting some passes to more dynamic players in the passing game even on shorter routes.
