AFC Championship Game Pats @Donkeys News/Discussion

I see another double digit win assuming the pats don't sit at midfield and shit themselves all game. It would take a slew of Turnovers by NE to keep this close. That defense is highly overrated and Stidham...c'mon. The defense might score enough points to beat them in this one.

Just to add to my post above. NE is the best all around team left standing. Our Offense is on par with LA and our defense now that its healthy is on par with Seattle. Denver without Nix I don't have any faith in. It comes down to can Maye clean up the slop and hold onto the damn ball. And does the pressure get to him at some point or does he stay ho-hum just another game. Thats the unknown. But I'll take him over Nix/Stidham and Darnold in any game any day of the week. And at this point you take Stafford (if you so choose) because of experience. I like our chances more than anyone's to raise the Lombardi.

...And take the Patriots, laying the points. They'll likely win by double digits on Sunday.

Do you people truly, honestly believe that Sean Payton will allow his team to lose - at home, remember - to this fucking collection of fucking Fools' Gold stiffs? It is to laugh...

With Nix I would agree with his statement. With Stidham not so much. If they don't win on Sunday they choked. One, yes, no one expected this. However, they have proven to be a good team, all the schedule stuff aside and I'm not downplaying it, they have beaten nearly half the league winning 16 games. They have won two playoff games. They are the road favorite having won 15 out of 16 games coming in and they are playing a team with a QB who hasn't thrown a snowball in the league in over two years. No excuses.

I don't think Payton will allow anything. But their defense is highly overrated and has been all year. For all the weak schedule talk we endured they are near the bottom of the league in sos for the regular season as well. They have all these miracle 4th quarter comebacks because they either were out played or downright sucked, particularly on offense for three quarters.

The Patriots are 8-0 on the road, that does not happen by being fools gold or luck. Only three teams in the history of the NFL have gone undefeated on the road and not made it to the SB. The Cowboys and Lions to be expected. The only outline the 1990 49ers.

For me personally, the only thing that keeps me from saying the Broncos have zero chance of winning this game is it's at Mile High. Weird shit happens there and we tend to pants ourselves when we play there. But Stidham is no Elway or Manning, hell not sure he could even smell their jocks if they were in front of his nose while trying mercilessly to pick Plummer's off the floor.
