Tom Brady & Patriots Dynasty Divinity Thread

Brady lost to the Giants because he didn't show up. His offense averaged 38 points during the regular season that year and only managed to score 14 with an undefeated season on the line.
He lost to the Giants because of his ankle, but most importantly Steve Spagnolo knew he couldn't run the same game plan he did in their first meeting. He also sent guys on blitzes who didn't blitz once during the regular season (Kawika Mitchell) to throw Brady off - which it did. Josh McDaniels even said he got outclassed by Spagnolo who didn't have any answers for it.
Mahomes has not lost to a bad QB in the playoffs yet. By this time in his career (through 7 years), Brady had already lost to Jake Plummer and Eli.
You didn't get a "4th super bowl" after 2007. You don't get to count the Tampa super bowl as one of your own. And no, down years was losing to Mark Sanchez or Ryan Tannehill in the first round. What a friggin dumbass.
I get a kick out when people say a QB lost to another QB. Brady doesn't play both offense and defense to prevent the other QB from scoring and visa versa. QB's only control their offenses.

You can blame BB and the Pats defense for not keeping Mark Sanchez and Jake Plummer of all QB's under control. Tannehill didn't do much in the Wild Card game as Henry ran wild.

LOL, he laughed at the Giants D that week. He wasn't worried heading into the game. And because ya'll got caught cheating that year, Spags made sure to change his signals up in a manner that confused the pats. It worked. Brady looked like a fool without anyone telling him over the headset how to read the Giants D.

I am convinced to this day that if the Pats didn't get caught cheating that year you would have gone undefeated. You would have videotaped the Giants regular season game and used that information in the super bowl.

So I take it I won't be hearing from you again about head-to-heads between Brady and Mahomes?

Ah, so it's a team game...and coaching matters in wins and losses.
