Tom Brady & Patriots Dynasty Divinity Thread

He doesn't have to play until he's 45 to accomplish what Brady has done. Brady went through a 10 year gap when he did nothing special. The key to Mahomes is getting to his 4th and 5th super bowls faster than Brady did.
That gap had two mvp seasons and two superbowl appearances lol it was a decent time period all things considered
Its no guarantee he even makes it back though. I put it 60 percent chance he gets to 4 faster than Tom and thats only cause the competition are choking dogs but we'll see.

2 of his 3 MVPs...whoopti doo. That period was not exactly HOF worthy.

Stop. What was Brady's competition between 2005 and 2013? He lost to Plummer, Peyton X 2, Eli X 2, Sanchez, Flacco X 2 and during this period. Of that list Peyton was the only really great QB. The rest are average like Eli or outright bums.

Lol if youre gonna go that route who did Mahomes beat in the Superbowl besides Hurts? Jimmy G and Purdy??
05 that was a tired Pats team no excuses tho
06 vs Manning and a Caldwell drop away lol
07 dont wanna talk about it
08 ACL
09 Bad loss but that was the end of the early 00s Pats players the new blood was barely getting injected
The one loss I put on Tom and I've been consistent with this is the Jets one. No business losing that game.
11 another dont wanna talk about it
12 Lost to playoff Flacco who beat Peyton Manning prior as well lol you forget that was a thing Flacco had insane playoff numbers compared to his regular season averages
13 Manning L again but with the worst cast hes in his career Edelman/Dobson/Thompkins was his main weapons lol

Winning a SB against crap QBs and losing to crap QBs in the first round are not in the same ballpark.

LMAO Brady got outclassed by Peyton and Eli, and he got Flacco'd TWICE.

Most overrated player in NFL history.

I hold no hatred against the Patriots anymore nor the Chiefs for that matter. Big Dick Foles got us in 17 and LMAO we put belt to ass on the refs and the Chiefs

That means Mahomes may be more overrated for not getting it done against the most overrated player in history

Your words not mine lol

Perhaps

If only butler had played smh

Wouldn't have made a difference. Perhaps if Brady didn't fumble the ball with the game on the line. Anything that happened in the game up to that point (2 mins left in the 4th quarter) is irrelevant. He had the game in the palm of his hands....

Of course it would've made a difference they just needed one or two stops that game

Just stop. The Eagles were playing with a backup QB and they didn't have their playcaller on defense Jordan Hicks, future HOFer in Jason Peters, and Darren Sproles. And you were able to stop Foles in at least 2 drives in the first half of that game.

We'll never know but they would have had a better shot
Butler was CB1 that year
