Film, TV, Netflix, HBO, Etc. Thread

I hated the 30-minute episodes at first but they’re enough to get the hooks in. That battle was spectacular. The closest thing to a medieval contest I’ve ever seen. A lot of shows dress up the sword fighting, the OG GoT included, but that was a messy brawl in the mud.

Going to be fun to watch Egg’s entire bloodline, with the exception of the Mad King, eventually get wiped out.

This is the first product of theirs that actually FEELS like GoT in about a decade (season 6).

The situation with prince Baelor was as horrifying as Ned stark for me

I knew it was coming unfortunately. Read a spoiler by accident in a comment section. I’ve never read the books, so I would have had no idea.

Recently watched "The Chosen", very good. The dude they chose to play Jesus does a great job. Follows Jesus, his disciples and other prominent characters around Christ, with some jump-backs to other relevant times through history. 5 seasons streamable up to his arrest and the kiss from Judas. Season 6 has been filmed and is coming out later this year with the finale being a feature length in theaters.

Then I followed that up with "The House of David". Definitely more loose with historical accuracy, but a really entertaining watch. More action and war/drams than The Chosen for sure. 2 seasons are done with a third in the works.
