If you were a real ass nigga you know Halo 2 was the shit, in the Wild West days of the internet when giant gaming companies gave you proximity-voice and then didn’t give a fuck if you and 10 million teenagers called each other faggots and niggers all day and night while slaughtering each other with Battle Rifles.
From 2004-2007, your Halo 2 rank on Xbox live was basically your Dick size.
Because of proximity-voice, where you could hear and talk to the opposing team when within a distance radius, plus zero fucks given about shit-talking, slur-throwing, highly-charged, ranked competition, it became a generational phenomenon.
Now it’s all archived. Even your individual games. Career stats, game stats, in depth number-crunching analysis, etc etc.
Me sharing screenshots of games with my boys on Facebook messenger the last two nights has already started a bunch of shit-talking drama and it was twenty fucking years ago.
