Please share any Bible verses here that are meaningful to you. I would like a place to absorb the word of God from the perspectives of others and not just from my own readings.
I will share my own often, but I am much more interested in others.
Any of mine will be from NKJV translation.
One of my favorites...
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God;
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Philippians 4: 6-7
Feeling anxious or worried? Don't waste your time and spiritual energy on worrying. Talk to God. Ask for help and understanding.
But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.
I like to keep this as a note to self. Because as frustrating as family can be…

Thank you! This is the stuff I am looking for. I'm in process of rereading the New Testament right now. 1 Timothy was about a week ago for me, and I did not make note of that verse in my Bible. And I should have because it is great.
I get a bit of a tunnel vision sometimes when reading that I find myself missing reflecting on some of these.
If there’s one Bible verse(s) that caused me to lose sleep…
”Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

I take it as a message to the "Sunday morning Christians" who are simply checking off a box. HOWEVER, who is to say I am not included in that? Have I done enough? Have I made too much of a habit of doing wrong then asking for forgiveness?

If verbally abusing people on the internet is criterion for going to heaven then you and I are going to be next door neighbors in the celestial kingdom.

If ever I should decide to join you, I’ll let you know!
The spiritual journey is just that. A journey. I’ve been at many different spots in mine. I’d love to get back to a place where I’m embracing it and believing. Not sure I’m there yet though.

A prayer for all of us this Sunday morning. Grace be with you all.
May the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead,
that great Shepherd of the sheep, thought the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Make you complete in every work to do His will, working in you what is pleasing in His sight,
through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable
and perfect will of God.
Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey,
you are that one's slaves whom you obey,
whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness.
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.
