Bible Verses - please share

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a
living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

- 1 Peter 1:3

Have a blessed Sunday, everyone.

An often needed reminder to be grateful for what you have.

Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world,
And it is certain we can carry nothing out.

- 1 Timothy 6:6-7

Another reminder to be grateful. VERY grateful.

For you were bought at a price;
Therefore glorify God in your body
and in your spirit, which are God's.

- 1 Corinthians 6:20

A simple but powerful verse. It's one worth reminding yourself each day.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

- Philippians 4:13

Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.

- Habakkuk 2:4

It's never too late to turn yourself around.

To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness,
though we have rebelled against Him.

- Daniel 9:9

Happy Sunday to everyone who reads this...which means Deus and maybe Sensei.

A prayer to EVERYONE here. Believers and even non believers. Maybe, especially non believers. God loves you whether you know it or want it. It's never too late.

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord life up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
- Numbers 6:24-26

And a second prayer for any non believers.

Heavenly Father, I ask that You open up the minds of unbelievers, and please open their eyes from darkness to light. I ask that You would bring people and opportunities into their lives that would share the gospel with them.

Those whose minds the god of this age has blinded,
who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory
of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

- 2 Corinthians 4:4

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.

And it will be said in that day:

We have waited for Him,
and He will save us,

We have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in
His salvation."

- Isaiah 25:9

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts.

- Proverbs 21:2

Matthew 7:15:

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Talk to God regularly.

Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them in the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man.

- Proverbs 3:3-4

A Sunday prayer to everyone. Believer or not. Whether you even see this or not.

Now may the Lord direct your hearts
into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way.
The Lord be with you all.

For You are my lamp, O' Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.

- 2 Samuel 22:29

The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And he knows those who trust in Him.

- Nahum 1:7

I have always been a Christian in mind, whatever that means or is worth. But I haven't always walked the walk. I talked to God often, but there seemed to be something missing.

My pastor referred to this verse in explaining that our communications with God should be two-way. We talk to God, we ask of God. But we need to listen to God too. That will strengthen your relationship with Him.

And that's what reading the Bible is. Listening to God. This isn't the only place the Bible references eating and devouring the Word. It's my favorite though.

Your words were found, and I ate them,
And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart;
For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts.

- Jeremiah 15:16

A prophecy about modern politics? 😀

A wise man's heart is at his right hand,
But a fool's heart at his left.

- Ecclesiastes 10:2
