AFC Championship Game Pats @Donkeys News/Discussion

I forgot you’re a Welker dick rider.

When practically all the world was at first blaming Brady for the 2011 incompletion, I was pointing out that it was Welker. And, now that you're being an idiot about a mythical Welker "betrayal", I'm pointing out that you're full of shit.

Because I try to be as fair and as unbiased as possible.

More on Welker than on Brady. I broke it down in slo mo many times on PF. Weller mis-timed the jump, then while in the air attempted to make an adjustment which resulted in the illusion that he was corkscrewing due to a badly placed ball. The throw wasn’t perfect but it’s usually a routine catch.

I was always a huge Welker fan and supporter, but he knew damn well that going to Denver to play with Manning at that time was going to destroy his legacy in New England. So that was a choice he made whatever fuck him.

Belichick effectively left him no choice, same as with Brady. It's amazing to me that figuring out the problem that BB was later in the dynasty doesn't get people to look back and see what that entailed.

Brady took that lesser deal. Then, instead of moving some of the savings over to Welker's deal, as everyone expected, BB fucked Welker over by lowballing him, and left Brady holding the bag. And, in the end, that shortened Welker's career, because Manning kept tossing Welker hospital balls and the concussions finished Wes off.

So let's not bash Welker over that. Let's give the "fuck you" to the man who deserves it: BB.

Mister Hudson made an even worse call on Amendola in 2018. Go back and look at just how productive and clutch DA was in 2017 when Edelman got hurt. Absolute beast in the playoffs…unfortunately the team benched its best CB and allowed an NFL record yardage in the Super Bowl or DA’s play would have been more legendary. 3 games, 348 yards, 2 TDs, 18 first downs.

2 years, $12M with Dolphins, same deal as Welker. Continued to have similar production for 3 more seasons.

Mister Hudson then desperately traded a solid backup / starter-to-be quarterback for Philip Dorsett and brought in Josh Rehab since the WR corp was so thin.

Those of us who'd been criticizing BB and talking about moving on from him, and even just listing a lot of his mistakes (like the awful drafting that had been happening) were told that we were crazy/unfair/, for years. And then the Eagles SB happened. It's wild that it took that happening for people to really start to see it.

And I wonder how many people would finally now be willing to admit that his coaching that day was a firing worthy event.

And long before the Eagles' Super Bowl, there was the 2014 draft. The season before had been derailed largely because of problems with the WRs. So, round two comes along and Jarvis Landry is sitting there just waiting to be picked.

But BB decides that, rather than take the WR that the team needs, it's time to grab the successor to the greatest QB in the history of the game, a player who would continue for another nine seasons and four Super Bowl titles...

Ultimately it worked out because it paved the way for Edelman

I’d take Edelman over 5 wes welkers
