If the Patriots win this one, Steeler fans will start to sweat New England dropping a 7th Banner on their bitch ass.

Everything the Patriots do ever now has a blast radius of drama. Curiosity is going to turn to hate league-wide real fast with two more wins.

Maybe not completely at first, but a Super Bowl win sets the stage for Drake Maye v Patrick Mahomes in the AFC Championship next year.

It would absolutely bring the dormant hate of all involved completely back to full power.

Yes, Football Gods, yes.

Scam Newton's a pile of black shit. But in this particular case, he's not wrong.

If they by some miracle actually win on Sunday, Pats will have then had the 4TH-easiest schedule of any SB participant since the 1970 merger.
The others: 3 - 1999 STL Rams... 2 - 1972 undefeated Doofins... 1 - 1970 Baltimore Colts.

I’m gonna say this both ways: none of these kinds of “historical” stats matter all. Of all those ten reference games, not one featured a current player involved in this game.

It’s the same with “The Patriots are 11-4 in AFC Championship games.” Doesn’t matter a lick in this game.

There are like a zillion of these “historic trends” you can cite either way. In fact, sports-books love to post these types of things to entice bettors to act.

Buffalo fans are whining about a Patriots easy schedule, meanwhile they couldn’t beat Bo fucking Nix, and needed a soon-to-be-banned play to beat Jacksonville.

Now they’re acting like the Broncos lost Peyton Manning.
