there was zero thinks to like about last years team. even as shitty of a game that they played sunday we still had chances last year it would have turned it off at half time because it would have been over. Lasts years offense was so unwatchable, They actually get 1st downs now. Maye is improving, Yes i know this throw and that throw and a fumble but he still played a good game. Now that being said if by week 8 this is still the same shit then we have a problem, but right now keep going, oh yeah fuck gonzo what a pussy
Regardless of perceived watchability, you said that this team would stomp last year's team, and the game wouldn't be close.
Drake Maye is 1-2 this season, and the only reason he has the 1 win is because a Steelers' player ran out of bound on what would have almost certainly been the game winning TD had he not done so. And Maye, himself, had 2 more turnovers this week.
Last year, the Patriots team won in week one and took it to overtime in week two, by playing defense and not turning the ball over. There's no reason to think it couldn't have done something similar against this year's (early) Patriots.

Nah, this team would have absolutely raped the 2024 team.
The 2025 team has a top 5 QB in the NFL, a much better OL, a much better defense that can actually pressure the QB (and whose pass coverage is improving weekly), and a superior coaching staff.

You're making one argument after first making a different argument. I'm talking about your claim that this year's team (to date) would have smoked last year's early team. Frankly, this year's team would probably lose that matchup.
BTW, with regards to Douglas, guys who broke down the film give him partial blame for the Maye int, noting that he let himself get caught up in the wash at the line, which is what allowed the intercepting DB to stay back instead of picking him up.
Again, good thing they needlessly got rid of Bourne.
