Week 2 Patriots postmortem thread

I was looking at Douglas the whole time, never saw BootyTime until the very end...
Same. Said it in the GDT I thought it was an overthrow to Pop at first. Both were well covered but very unlikely Pop is making that catch, it’s just not his game, Boutte has proven he can make tough grabs

I am encouraged by the Oline play, (penalties aside), same with the Dline and pass rush. The pass D is concerning but without Gonzo they are thin. I think it will improve, and obviously having to cover Hill, Waddle, and Achane is a challenge they wont face every week.

Knee to the balls, once they dropped back down and he could breathe again he was good to go

Yeah they showed the replay of that hit, and there was no injury-worthy movement in either of his knees or ankles, which is what I always fear of course in those situations...

New England Patriots starting right tackle Morgan Moses was listed as questionable with a foot injury heading into the team's Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

When it came time for the game, Moses was out there competing with the team. However, it seems things might not be perfect, even after the loss.

According to the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed, Moses was spotted wearing a walking boot in the locker room after the game.

Earlier in the week, head coach Mike Vrabel was asked what would happen if Moses wasn't able to play.

“I would say going backwards, yeah, you could see a possible rotation anywhere to try to create that balance of guys that are playing with some energy, some effort and the things that you need to do to be able to strain and win a football game,” Vrabel said. “Marcus (Bryant) would be the first one in. Vederian (Lowe) has worked hard throughout the spring and training camp to get back, was active last week, so he would be, again, an option as well.”
