The offensive problems boiled down to Maye not playing well and the OL not getting enough push on run plays. It wasn't play calling. It wasn't the wide receivers. it wasn't the tight ends. It was 2 of the 3 things that were supposed to be offensive strengths for this team (along with Henderson receiving out of the backfield) failing.

And they ran it to the right side once the entire game.. Yeah they didn't have great success on average but when you come into the 2nd half with a lead you should at least try to wear the defense down.

The game changed on the first drive of the second half, when Maye fucked up and tossed a pick that should never have happened. After that:


Pass to Henry
Pass to Henderson (You know... the thing that everyone was saying the Patriots should do all game)
Pass to Boutte

Next drive

Douglas run
Pass to Henderson ((You know... the thing that everyone was saying the Patriots should do all game)
Sack


Next drive

False start, making it 1st and 15
Pass to Diggs for 10
Pass to Stevenson (again, passing to the backs, which everyone wanted)
Pass to Diggs for the first down
Gibson run for 3 yards
Pass to Gibson (again, passing to the backs, which everyone wanted)
Maye passes to Maye


When they next get the ball back, they are down 10, with less than 7 minutes left in the game. I assume nobody's going to cry about not running at that point, because that would be silly. So...


Where's the gripe?
