It's frequently the case that cheating women don't like to be called out for being cheating women. It's common, at least in part, because women build up a series of excuses for doing it which end up sort of justifying and immunizing their actions (He didn't pay attention to me, I needed more emotional support, etc...) in their own eyes, and having it thrown at them by others throws that off kilter.
So being offended becomes part of the victimhood portion of their emotional defense.
