A win in 2007 gives TB 4 rings at that point, meaning he'd only add one more over the course of about 15 more seasons, so the legacy narrative would change radically, from "Could win at any time over 20+ seasons" to "Look at that 7 year span!". Of the two options, I prefer the one he has.
Actually a nice way to think about it, even if it's not a guaranteed if/then. Makes you realize what we got was good.
I would take the 7 rings. Can't think of any Superbowl I would "give up" nevermind 3.
7 rings. Easily. If he won in ‘07, we’d only have four rings and the greatest season of all time (which would be debated). I’d rather have 6 rings as a Pats fan.

Ehh... He probably would have played until 50 if it weren't for his whore ex-wife, so I'm not going to take the "No, really..." from more than a decade earlier. But just a difference in opinion there.

Also if we are talking Brady's legacy alone, that 7th ring without Bill going through Brees, Rodgers, Mahomes was his best run and most important to his personal legacy.
