Right, he's not elite but he has other qualities. Everyone wants to call you elite when you have a Super Bowl victory and it's stupid. At most there are 2 or 3 truly elite quarterbacks at any one time in the NFL, maybe.

Last night was efficient it was not amazing. Did his job there's nothing wrong with that.
It's not an insult to say a quarterback is good enough to win with because so many of them are not.
Hurts is probably comparable to Flacco when he was with the Ravens. Not elite, but you can do a lot worse, and you can win the Lombardi if your team is stacked elsewhere.
Oddly, for a running QB, Hurts may be the most dependent QB in the league, outside of Goff. Stick Hurts on an average team, and he's struggling to stay a starter in the league.
And we know this, because we've seen it, both in his first full year and during the 2023 collapse.
