If I were a defender I'd eat the fine and blast Mahomes(and any running QB for that matter) when they try to use the sidelines to their advantage. Just eat the fine and I promise you they won't do that shit again. You're already getting penalized for mickey mouse hits might as well let it be worth it

Fuck it. Hit them helmet-to-helmet and let their ears ring for the rest of the day. Earn the penalty and the fine. When I coached, I always told those kids that if they were going to hit the QB, expect the flag and level him. Put the fear of God into his head.

This league, right now, badly needs Daniels to maintain his current trajectory, and for the Redskins to not fuck it up. That was supposed to be Lawrence, but it hasn’t happened for him. Daniels may be the calmest rookie under pressure that I’ve ever seen.

Here's the thing....


Because the opponent whining about Brady getting calls became so widespread, someone actually looked into the calls. It turned out that Brady was at the bottom of the league when it came to QBs getting calls, not at the top. That means that a random bad call here or there was likely just that.

Do you really think that the Mahomes situation is identical?*
