We're obviously not looking at finished products, and things will obviously change over time. But, as of this moment, their chances aren't very good...

oh man great point, i didnt even think they had to play the regular season next year. all those teams will be unbeatable. we will be 0-17 by week 5

They played an historically easy schedule this season, and their QB had an all-time historic run that's not likely to be repeated next year, given that it was a top 5/top 10 all time kind of run. Next season, they are playing what was the toughest division in the AFC this year, a resurgent Jags team (on the road), a tough NFC division, and the team that just whooped their ass yesterday (again, on the road). If things stay static (and I noted that they would not when I wrote "and things will obviously change over time"), that obviously makes it a lot harder to repeat this year's season. There's no reason to hide from it, and it doesn't mean that they can't still have a good year next year.

Exactly why i said we have to be better, Will Campbell must improve. nail the draft and fix issues on oline. even if we stay the exact same for next year we can win enough to make playoffs IMO. every team is one off season away for being shit. if next year Sam darnold went to shit would anyone be surprised?

Me personally I hate reggaeton
Worst music imaginable
The show was good but I saw it through Hispanic eyes I understand not a cup of tea for the majority of the country
However MAGA niggas just like the leftist niggas cry over anything thats pretty much it lol

It was in Spanish, despite American football being about "American", which is an English speaking country
The "artist" is a cross dresser
Among other things, it had 2 men dry humping, despite the Super Bowl supposedly being a family friendly viewing experience
The "artist" has been open about his hostility towards the U.S. political right, which would obviously include MAGA

That's not really a just "cry over anything" situation

This isn't Brady at QB with a veteran team coming off the loss to the Eagles and just looking at a few positional upgrades. This is a team that had a record setting sort of jump with a lot of young players and older additions that might age out a bit (think Diggs and Moses, for some examples). As we saw with this team's significant offensive struggles in the last 4 games, this team's offense had a lot of problems dealing with better defenses when Maye wasn't on his absolute heater. And as I posted, and made clear that it was talking about next year's schedule applied to everything else AS OF THIS VERY MOMENT:

We're obviously not looking at finished products, and things will obviously change over time...

It shouldn't be controversial to just point out that even with a better roster, the team that won only 4 games in each of the two previous seasons is primed for a bit of a fall back.

As for Darnold struggling, he's 28-6 over the past two seasons, to go along with his 3-1 playoff record during that time. And, even when he had bad games this year, the Seahawks won, all the way up to the Super Bowl.

I'm not trying to argue, I just feel good about where we are at. And if thats wrong then i guess we can argue :ROFLMAO:

And you should feel good. The team has a young QB who should still do plenty of learning and growing. It's got a pair of rookie offensive linemen who should be better next year. It's got a lot of cap space, and should have plenty of money to spend fixing what needs it.

This is an obvious case where two things can be true at the same time.
