I don't remember their getting silenced and banned en mass. I think a lot of them chose to leave when there was a change at the board in how topics were posted or the board was arranged or something. If they got banned en mass I missed that. I didn't always post a lot over there and maybe during that time period I wasn't around much.

I cheer when anyone gets banned. The thought of a grown man getting banned from a message board because he can’t behave on the internet is hilarious. I’ve been banned from every single message board I’ve ever posted at. Usually after 3,000 posts. PF put up with me for much longer.

I don't think patswin actually cares that much but he has to go by what the owner of the board has as standards. The owner doesn't even want to have a political forum and probably would view stuff like that as a reason to close it down. I personally don't think that that comment warranted the thread being closed either. Pats win is going to open the thread again after he looks through the posts.
