Patriots GameDay Patriots vs Bills Week 15

Patriots GameDay Discussion
Look to the QB who couldn't make throws and seemed to struggle with the weather, agian, instead of the WRs for this one.
When the defense is shitting the bed, your franchise QB should be able to keep up specially at home with a 21 pt lead...I put this on the offense just as much as the defense
Blowing a 21 pt lead falls on everyone
What I've noticed with Maye is that he gets too complacent with a lead. After the 2nd consecutive TD is where the offense should've stopped the bleeding. The game should've been out of reach. This falls on Skippy as well getting way too consertive relying on the run. Bills stuffed them at times putting Maye in 3rd and longs and he couldn't convert.

Meanwhile, Joe Murray was bashing McDaniels for not running more.

No offense to you, as you just happen to be the first person on the board that I've seen post what you did, but the juxtaposition of those two complaints is a classic demonstration of why most criticism of offensive coordinators is to be ignored.

Pop could've used a few more snaps in this game, I know I've argued he should be a part time player but 10 snaps is too few. He's proven to be an explosive playmaker, get him 3-5 touches, maybe a couple first reads on play-action, on slants or in-cuts.. something to get him the ball and let him work.

You know I’m a McDaniels fan, and Maye’s second year jump under him has a lot to do with McDaniels as a play caller, but he’s good for a stinker or two every year. This was true under Brady as well. This might be confirmed by someone with time to break down the tape, but it looked like those safeties were cheating up a lot in the second half. One of those times was on the Tre Henderson TD run. Maybe the people who watch the tape can break down why we didn’t use play action more.

And now it's about play action?

So...

Too much running
Not enough running
Not enough play action.

Y'all are a hoot.

2nd half, first drive

Run (-1 yards)
Pass
Sack

2nd half, second drive

Passing moved the ball from the Patriots 19 (after a penalty on the punt return) to the Buffalo 43, via 6 passes
False start
Offensive holding
Int

2nd half, third drive

Run for a TD (Henderson)

2nd half, fourth drive

Run (5 yard gain)
Sack
Pass

2nd half, last drive

Pass (5 yard gain)
Sack
Pass
Pass

I look forward to someone giving us a master's degree course in how the number of runs called was, in any way, the the problem there.

Feel free to quote a post where I’ve been critical of him the entire year. Just one.

Not the point. I'm just pointing out that everyone wants to blame the O.C., but they're using different (some contradictory) reasons to do it, and the actual play calling doesn't support the positions (too much running/not enough running) being claimed.

I believe you once called him a douche bag Jew now rotting in hell.

No, that was Rob Reiner. But I'm sure you said just as bad about Josh.

I blame the QB, lack of protection, and execution first. That doesn’t excuse the fact that McDaniels ignored the play action when the defensive alignment was begging for it. Does Maye hit those shots in that weather? Who knows. But it was a miss from McDaniels.

Campbell would be great. I know you hated him as a pick but the kid has been stout.

VD Low hasn't been much of a problem either, or at least not as much of a one as our LG-C-RG combo, which Completely fucking Sucks.

Our starting RB is another Problem... So is our OC... And that's just the offense...

Both can be true, you know.

We now Suck again. The fancy new stagecoach has returned into a pumpkin. Exposed for all the football world to see.

They're 11-3, and likely to finish no worse than 13-4. People were overrating them before, but they don't suck.
