From bottom to top it was a shit show after the 1st qtrDefinitely was not his finest effort as a coach. The opportunities were there.

Look to the QB who couldn't make throws and seemed to struggle with the weather, agian, instead of the WRs for this one.
What I've noticed with Maye is that he gets too complacent with a lead. After the 2nd consecutive TD is where the offense should've stopped the bleeding. The game should've been out of reach. This falls on Skippy as well getting way too consertive relying on the run. Bills stuffed them at times putting Maye in 3rd and longs and he couldn't convert. When the defense is shitting the bed, your franchise QB should be able to keep up specially at home with a 21 pt lead...I put this on the offense just as much as the defense
Blowing a 21 pt lead falls on everyone

You know I’m a McDaniels fan, and Maye’s second year jump under him has a lot to do with McDaniels as a play caller, but he’s good for a stinker or two every year. This was true under Brady as well. This might be confirmed by someone with time to break down the tape, but it looked like those safeties were cheating up a lot in the second half. One of those times was on the Tre Henderson TD run. Maybe the people who watch the tape can break down why we didn’t use play action more.![]()
Meanwhile, Joe Murray was bashing McDaniels for not running more.
No offense to you, as you just happen to be the first person on the board that I've seen post what you did, but the juxtaposition of those two complaints is a classic demonstration of why most criticism of offensive coordinators is to be ignored.

Feel free to quote a post where I’ve been critical of him the entire year. Just one.And now it's about play action?
So...
Too much running
Not enough running
Not enough play action.
Y'all are a hoot.

I blame the QB, lack of protection, and execution first. That doesn’t excuse the fact that McDaniels ignored the play action when the defensive alignment was begging for it. Does Maye hit those shots in that weather? Who knows. But it was a miss from McDaniels. Not the point. I'm just pointing out that everyone wants to blame the O.C., but they're using different (some contradictory) reasons to do it, and the actual play calling doesn't support the positions (too much running/not enough running) being claimed.
Campbell would be great. I know you hated him as a pick but the kid has been stout.
