Patriots GameDay Patriots vs Bills Week 15

Patriots GameDay Discussion
Mahomes going down will mean no #1 seed for us. That's a guaranteed win for Denver now. It's unfortunate we will have to play an extra game, but hopefully we have better injury luck for the rest of the season. We can beat anyone anywhere as long as there are no key injuries.
We're better on the road anyway.

While it sucks to lose this game, it's not the end of the world. Allen has proven he can put up points in a hurry, and when he gets hot he's tough to stop. If they don't get bailed out by the refs on a couple plays it could've ended differently. But that's the breaks. Pats are still 11-3 and in good position to win the division still.

Bad officiating or not, we blew a 21-point lead at the end of the day. That’s not a good sign. We badly need Milton Williams back.

its a terrible sign

"the real season starts after Thanksgiving"

and we just blew a 21 point lead at home in a game that decides the division and will be a key factor in playoff seeding.. and did it in embarrassing fashion

not sure what to be alarmed with more, the fact that our defense got absolutely fucking shredded non-stop the entire 2nd half... or the fact that our offense, outside of 1 awesome run by Henderson, couldn't move the ball to save their life

buffalo's defense is not good... and we couldn't do anything against it the entire 2nd half, when we needed it most.. even with 4 downs to do it on final drive

good teams don't let that happen in mid december

we should have been able to manage a couple field goals at least in 2nd half.. the offense was barely on the field, they would just go 3 and out, then Buffalo would come on and methodically drive down the entire field and score a TD

was a total meltdown in all 3 phases

While I understand your concerns and they are valid, the patriots had shitty losses late in the season to shitty teams( not a good experience team like buffalo), even in championship years. i.e. 04 @ the miami dolphins. That's still one of the worst losses I ever remember them having late in the year when they were a good team.Actually, the 04 patriots were the best patriots team there ever was in my opinion.

not sure what to be alarmed with more,

Add "Drake Maye has been struggling in these wintery games" to the list of things to be concerned about

I am definitely concerned about that.I think i've mentioned it somewhere here. Though in fairness to him, I think the wind was blowing side to side today.

It sucks and it’s alarming but I’m okay with it because:

a, We got fucked by the refs.

b. A loss in December can be a good wake up call

c. Beating a team three times in one season is tough and we might see them in Gillette again.

Sucks to lose. Would have been nice to bury the Bills and send them into full panic mode, but we’re okay and still genuine Super Bowl Contenders / Better than the Bills.

Fucking m-m-morons who thought this team wasn't a Fraud.

And now HFA - and with it any chance to win a PO game - is fucking Gone, baby.

FUCK the fucking New England Pussies.

Defense was softer than the Bills today. Their DL has been soft since Williams left. Barmore has been a big disappointment this season. I don't see any push in the pocket from that guy. Special teams sucked. Offense relied too much on the run and wouldn't answer the Bills scoring consecutive TD's aside from the late Henderson run. Bills outscored the Pats 28-7 in the 2nd half. Allen made the plays with his arm when he needed to while Maye was a compete no show.

Oh yeah and by the way, I just wanted to add...

I Fucking HATE that fucking long-haired, cement-head fucking retarded fucking special olympic teams fucking "captain." HATE HIM.

When Mack Hollins is your leading receiver, that's a big problem. He was not brought in for that. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Diggs isn't the same player and the Pats are going to cut him loose in 2026 before they are on the hook for $26.5M cap hit. They'll take the $20M in cap savings against a $5M dead cap and apply it elsewhere. Diggs was worth the risk, but he's knee isn't going to get younger.

Look to the QB who couldn't make throws and seemed to struggle with the weather, agian, instead of the WRs for this one.

I know not fair to do this but it is a concern

When did tom ever blow a 21 pt game lead at home??
Im getting Fraudgers vibes from Maye since Rodgers was the ultimate front runner hopefully im just overreacting

When the defense is shitting the bed, your franchise QB should be able to keep up specially at home with a 21 pt lead...I put this on the offense just as much as the defense
Blowing a 21 pt lead falls on everyone

Offense (and that absolutely includes the QB)
Defense
Special teams

They all contributed to the collapse
