Unfortunately, good cover safeties are hard to find in today's NFL. Even bad teams looking to trade are (at least mostly) going to want to keep such players.

Yeah that kind of compensation screams "We need this guy out of here asap", but who knows, we haven't heard anything about his attitude this year. We know he was a malcontent last year though.
Just name your fucking kid Shawn/Shaun/Sean and spare us all the extra syllable..
6th and 7th round picks are virtually worthless

We pretty much knew he was gone. I thought Pittsburgh might be an option (they are desperate for anything they can get at the position), but I thought that Pittsburgh would be the one team besides Buffalo where the Patriots would demand some legit compensation for the guy.
Dugger did have a pretty hefty contract, so if Pitt is taking that on fully I can see the comp being low.

I absolutely love this: both giving him an extension and him doing his q and a about his extension while in costume.
