I’m assuming he’s going to be our Week 1 starter and will have around 900-950 rushing yards on the season. He’s walking in as easily our most talented back.

I've been waiting for a reliable 1,000 yard rusher since Curtis Martin. Looking back at all the RB's drafted, we haven't had a RB rush for 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons since Martin from 1995-1997. Yikes!

I'd be surprised if he's the day 1 starter which could mean one of two things: He's that good or Rham is really regressing.

I like Rham, but he's become (or is becoming) a Maroney. The ability is there, and when he is on he is a force. But, no consistency.

Hard to blame him running behind the Oline the last couple years. For him it's just bad luck in that regard, and with his injuries.

The reality is today's "good" RB's get a shelf life of roughly 4 years. They are basically toast and out of the league by 28 yo unless they are elite level. Rham is likely going to split with Hendo this year.. and if the team does keep a FB I think Gibson is gone.
