Opening Game 2025 Patriots/Raiders GAME DAY!!!!!

Problem there is that the IOL couldn't have pushed a newborn off the line yesterday...
Then he should have let Maye be a playmaker instead of forcing him to be a robotic pocket passer like it's 2008.

The 2nd half meltdown was entirely on McDaniels. He didn't use Maye correctly. He better learn how to do so quickly or we will find someone who does.

Then he should have let Maye be a playmaker instead of forcing him to be a robotic pocket passer like it's 2010.

Drake Maye clearly was not ready to do that, as he demonstrated by blowing chance to be a playmaker after chance to be a playmaker yesterday.

Drake Maye has been ready to do that since last year.

Josh McDaniels castrated him yesterday. It's time to give him his balls back and let him make plays.

Trolling is one thing. Being stupid about it is another. You're doing the latter. You should stop.

Vrabel agrees with me. His response at yesterday's presser in regards to Maye's performance was that they need to do a better job coaching him, and then mentioned in detail how they need to go about it. McDaniels needs to do better, or we will find someone else. Vrabel has no loyalty to him.

It's time to #UnleashMaye

Vrabel gave the BB standard "Everything has to be better. Gotta coach better, etc..."

Again, if you're going to troll, don't be so stupid about it. Dupe account + fucking idiot = waste of time

He is a dupe account as much as the rest of us are dupe account exiles from Ian's Big Gay Boat Ride. Be nice to our fellow exile. Honey catches more bees than something. I forget the saying.

I don't care that it's a dupe account. I care that it's a dupe account that's posting like a fucking idiot far too often when trolling.

It takes so much more energy to be mean than it does to be nice. We need to be more patient with those with whom we disagree.

Perhaps they could patiently not be fucking idiots...

Maye still can't stay calm in the pocket.
Maye still can't keep his mechanics clean on the easiest of throws.
Maye still doesn't have much pocket awareness.
Maye still plays like a chucklehead far too often.

None of those things are because of McDaniels game planning or game coaching. The game changing INT was because Maye made a stupid decision, the same as he was doing all last season. It wasn't Van Pelt's fault last year, and this wasn't McDaniels' fault yesterday.

Vrabel was visibly annoyed with the way the offense was coached. It was abundantly obvious.

Josh McDaniels is now on the clock. He better get his shit together soon, because if he doesn't, then changes will be made and Maye isn't going anywhere.

Many of those things are a direct result of McDaniels forcing him to play QB like it's 1968. If you take his greatest strengths away, you take his confidence away, The guy is a playmaker. Stop forcing him to remain in the pocket in 2025.

He was hit on the INT. Not his fault.

I respectfully disagree. And that's ok. The variety of opinions warms my heart. It would be boring if there was nothing but vanilla ice cream. We have a cornucopia of opinion flavors here.

You might prefer chocolate. Itsgottabemaye may prefer pistachio. But you both like ice cream! Focus on your similarities.

He was clearly hit on the INT. Correct.

No, you don't, because you're not stupid, and disagreeing with what I posted would be stupid, since I'm obviously 100% correct on what I posted there.

As for being hit on the INT, he saw the pressure coming and made the wrong decision to throw into the pressure without being able to step into the pass. And that's the whole point. That's on him, not on Van Pelt or McDaniels.

If you want to blame coaching, blame Vrabel for not playing him (and the rest of the starters, too, for that matter) more in the exhibition games. He obviously still needs all the reps he can get.

Your dismissal of my opinion is coming from a place of frustration. I understand and know you are not dismissing my worth as a person. It is your anger talking and not the Deus I know and love.

We agree here and are sharing some virtual vanilla ice cream! All the reps possible are vital. True this season. Just as true last season.

Want some chocolate sprinkles on your ice cream?

Actually, @Dingleberry was 100% right, as is usually the case (unless he disagrees with me.)

Josh's future is in his own hands. Will he let his fetish of watching and jerking off to QBs strictly passing from the pocket cloud his judgement and get him fired at the end of the season, or will he modernize his offensive philosophy and win multiple Super Bowls with Drake Maye?

Time will tell.
