NFL General News

Is it me or is the NFL just weak right now? I feel like basically since the dawn of the 70’s, at least, QBs had to run a post season gauntlet of both 1st ballot Hall of Fame quarterbacks and a few generational talents on defense on top of it. If you didn’t have to play Ben Roethlisberger then Tom Brady, you had to play Peyton Manning then Ray Lewis.

I can’t imagine many current teams going into those brackets the favorites.

NFC is probably a little more relatable right now.

Lamar and Burrow both should have no excuses for not getting there. Yes Cinci is trash but so is everyone else.

Patriots even ought to be able to surprise.

It seems as if there are more QBs in the middle, and fewer at the very top and bottom. I think a lot of that is because of the combination of the stupidity of converting from pocket QBs to running QBs, and another big part of it is having coaches taking all the decision making away from QBs, from youth league all the way through the NFL now.

With the thinking part of the game mostly removed from the sport, and the idiocy of QBs deliberately running more, the greatest QB separator, the ability to process both between plays and in-play, is being eliminated. And, with today's rules, as the QBs go, so do the teams.

In other words, the AFC west this year is much harder than the AFC East was over the past two decades...
On paper for this year yes
Historically the West has a lower winning pct outside the Queefs in the Mahomes era than what the East had outside the Pats in the Brady era so don't go there you slicky bastard

No offense but the West is probably the gayest division in football. The Broncos alone are worth two regularly gay teams. Now Taylor Swift’s involved. TK is super gay.

I wish the Raiders were good and had a bunch of vicious dirty players to kill them all.

Chargers gay obviously.

Buffalo is done. They’ll probably win the Division and get a playoff spot because the Patriots are, if they follow most NFL trends, going to need another year of transition.

They’ll get fucking rolled there by whoever the fuck they play that’s serious.

Buffalo's won double digit games for 6 straight years, and jumped from 11 wins to 13 last season, so I'm not sure where "done" comes into it...

They’re done in that they’re not going to win a Super Bowl even though everyone else sucks.

Over the past twenty years the AFC East was a powder puff division. The AFC West has won more super bowls than the East.
