I'm glad he got another gig but neither got screwed is any way.Good for Joe. He and Andrews got screwed in this transition. It's good to see that at least one of them will be continuing to play the game.

That's fine. I feel for them but the new staff clearly wanted to turnover leadership amongst players while upgrading positions and I feel like they believe they did that. I don't really see an angle where the players get screwed in any cases really... nothing is guaranteed (except contracts constructed that way).We completely disagree on this.

that's not getting screwed, those jobs are non guaranteedYou just pointed to it. The two players were cut before there was any evidence of a better player replacing them (the center was terrible last year and the Long snapper hasn't even handled an NFL practice yet). Doing that because they were former captains is a screw job. You may be fine with the screw job, but the screw job still exists

That's not how the NFL works and you know it.They got screwed. They lost their jobs over nothing, when there's no guarantee of an upgrade replacement, or even of a league-worthy replacement.
Your position of "not guaranteed, so not screwed" is insensible. Most of the country is "right to work", but some of those employees still get screwed when they are let go.
DUE PROCESS!Listen to the bleeding heart liberals crying about mediocre players getting screwed because they were cut.![]()
DUE PROCESS!
edit: Sorry, wrong thread.

Pointing out a fact isn't "crying". For example, me noting the obvious, that I'm right and you're wrong approximately 99.99% of the time we disagree, is not me "crying".
I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing with anyone. Just got home tonight, read the thread, and noted the menstrual screams of dismay at an over the hill Center, a Long Snapper, and a slow LB getting screwed because they were cut. It was cute. And sweet.
I think you all should lower your pride flags at half mast out of mourning.
