HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A former Glastonbury police officer has pleaded guilty to more than a dozen charges stemming from a multi-state burglary spree that targeted more than 40 businesses and restaurants, investigators say.

Patrick Hemingway is accused of breaking into businesses across Connecticut and several other states in 2023 and 2024, stealing money from cash registers.

I would absolutely refuse to take a field sobriety test. That's a no win situation. If the cop wants to bust you, that's where he's going to get you. It's his interpretation. I'd take a breathalyzer though.

The number of false DUIs was 701 last year in that area.
