Good advice for when you get stopped. I'm not a lawyer but watching these videos helped me to learn exactly what rights I have if I'm stopped.
These are some general rules to go by.
RULE #1 Always record the police when you're stopped. It is your 1st amendment right! They can't legally make you stop filming. That way you have an unedited video of what happened so it's not your word against the cops. If you're not recording, they will lie and any judge or jury will believe them over you.
RULE #2 Invoke your 5th Amendment right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you! Give the cops your license, registration and proof of insurance if asked for them. Then shut the hell up!
RULE #3 Passengers do not have to provide ID unless the cop can articulate a crime that you committed, are committing or about to commit.
RULE #4 If a cop tells you or the passenger(s) to exit the vehicle you must comply.

A couple of more rules for when you get stopped.
FILM THE ENCOUNTER: Cops lie on their reports to make you seem like you're a criminal. That's their job. They want to take money from you or take away your freedom. I can't stress this enough, please record!!
You DO NOT have to roll your window all the way down. You can roll it down 3-4 inches so you can communicate with the cop and/or give him your papers. There is no lawful order to make you roll your window down all the way.
The police do NOT have the right to open your door! If the cop opens your door, it violates your 4th amendment right unless he is placing you under arrest.
DO NOT RESIST: If a cop arrests you, do not resist. Even if you had done nothing wrong they will add resisting arrest if you struggle.
Suggestion:
When you get stopped roll the window down 3-4 inches and lock your doors. That way he can't reach in to grab you. But if he asks you to you MUST exit the vehicle.

If the police come onto your property, you can tell them to leave if they DON'T have a warrant. If they have a warrant, you're going to be arrested. If they don't, tell them to pound sand.
DO NOT open the door to the police! There are many videos out there that show when you open the door, even a little, the cop will stick their foot in the door so you can't close it. If you try to close it with their foot in the door, they will arrest you for Assault on a police officer. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR! They are trying to bait you into doing something illegal.

They can call a K9 unit in but they must have reasonable articulable suspicion according to the card. The case law is Commonwealth vs Barr that the cop can smell marijuana. That is not valid in states that sell medical or recreational weed.
The only information you are required to give the police at a traffic stop will be on your license, registration or insurance. They DO NOT need your Social Security number, phone number, place of employment or anything else. Give them your papers, if requested, say "I want to invoke my 5th amendment right to remain silent". Then be quiet!!!
