There's too many angry posters at Patsfans who consistently have revisionist history and get upset when your prediction becomes reality. They then love to turn it around and say "you aren't a fan".

People would give Captain shit for saying a player or players suck and offer alternatives, only for the alternatives to become good and the players the Pats took end up sucking.

Of course I am, because I don't gobble the goo spewing outta One Patriot Place as the fan-boi front orifice homos there do; but I don't see a lot of those posts anyway because I have the full complement of 20 of them on my Ignore List

I haven't seen much in a while since you stopped posting there, but the resistance came from the usual posters (it wasn't many).

Second, last year's character problems are why this year's players were mostly chosen with an eye to avoiding such problems.

Overblown. The kid can play ball and there’s very little concern on a 5-year, rookie deal. Burden likely could have come in here and solidified the split end.

It seems pretty clear to me that Vrabel and Cowden are the guys running things now. Wolf was held over because of all the scouting involved for this draft being done by him and the staff under him. It's pretty rare to see a hard reset at GM before the draft.
