Apologies for the late thoughts, boys. I was out of town. Some quick hits until I get caught up at work and can dive in further:
1. Campbell was the logical choice there. I wish we would have done what the Jags did and moved up and drafted Hunter. Short of that, Campbell is the closest thing to a surefire LT in the draft. I said about a month ago that I thought this was where Vrabel will go.
2. I like Henderson as a back. He’s a bruiser who can also pull away in space. I would have much rather drafted Luther Burden III there, though. Hope I’m wrong.
3. I would have traded out of 69 before taking Williams, but I love the Wilson pick right after that. He’ll be the new anchor up front.
What an absolutely orgasmic draft that was, after a superb free agency. Mike Vrabel took the least talented roster in the league and turned it into easily the best in the AFC.
this is an example of the NIL stuff in college creating a lot of entitled adolescence coming into the NFL
He already had entitlement with his father being a legendary hall of famer... and he seems to put himself into that same category before ever stepping foot on an NFL field, which is ridiculous
He has financial security without the NFL, apparently likes to do rapping, etc... so is his focus going to be 100% on the NFL? That Gabriel guy the Browns drafted I bet was studying the playbook and will be putting 100% of his time into competing, he's not going to be throwing lavish parties and working on his rap album
