NFL GameDay Week 11 Other Games

GameDay Discussion
That loss they took in Jacksonville on MNF is looming large.
Playing with the playoff machine. KC winning the next three games in a row, including beating the Colts, does not put them back in the playoffs if the Jags take care of business against Arizona.

Their main competitors (Bal, Hou, Jax, LAC) will all be losing multiple games. They will be a low seed. But they will need to win 3 road games to go to the SB.

Not happening.

Jacksonville has Arizona and Tennessee coming.

Houston has Buffalo and Indy. This is where KC will get a really precarious 7th seed entry they’ll have to hold on to for dear life all season. Any combination of wins and loses between the teams you mentioned will probably be shifting everything beneath the Division winners until the playoffs start.

I’d assume if Baltimore gets back in it, KCs got problems

Chiefs have 2 games that could easily be losses (Colts, Broncos), and the Chargers, who ebb and flow with their O-line
Jags have 3 games that could easily be losses (Colts twice, Broncos)
Ravens have 4 games that could easily be losses (Steelers twice, Patriots, Packers)
Chargers have 3 games that could easily be losses (Eagles, Chiefs, Broncos)

For each team, the other competition is with teams that they shouldn't lose to unless they crap the bed. So the Chiefs still have a hill to climb just to get into the playoffs.

Ravens have Jets, Bengals, Steelers, Bengals then Pats. They could be 9-5 going into week 16

Now that Vrabel and Drake Maye are on the board, every post season game is legacy ball. Very serious “MVP” candidate (as lame as that award can be), on a top seed, out-of-nowhere team, absurdly soon (in NFL years) after a two decade long dynasty, coached by a Red Jacket from the first era.

The difference in trajectories between wins and losses soon is huge. Would rather face a 7 seed Mahomes in Gillette than have to go to Mile High. Home field advantage is huge. Need the Broncos to start dropping games.

It’s such a turning of the page for the AFC all around that whoever has home field advantage is going to have a loud as fuck crowd. All the pink hats from every franchise have cleared out. Home playoff games are probably going to be a buzz saw this year for New England, Pittsburgh, Denver, and Indianapolis.

Mahomes and/or the Jags/Colts in a loud AF Gillette stadium snow game in January.
Easy money.

Doncs remaining schedule.. starts of pretty easy after their bye, but could be 2-3 losses in there at the end.
Bye, @ Redskins, @ Raiders, Packers, Jags, @ KC, Chargers

@KC is probably a loss, can’t imagine the Jags beating anyone real, Trevor’s flowing blonde mane or not. Can wishfully-see them maybe dropping a game to the Raiders in some unexpected Division drama. Hopefully the Packers will show up for the game.

Broncos don’t look _that_ good. I just don’t want to go to their stadium.

Hmm. Maybe you guys were right and the Broncos squeaking out this win is for the best. Patriots have much more winnable schedule. Doubt Denver will keep up.

The ideal AFC Championship is Pittsburgh @New England so the media hype train has to be all about which team will reach for their seventh Super Bowl championship, to tie the illustrious Tom Brady, first, making Steelers fans even sadder when it’s over.

I would wager the Jags take their Chargers game plan into Denver, run the ball all over them if possible.

19 points isn’t bad for a teaser over of 40.5…..
