NFL GameDay The official Week 4 GDT.

GameDay Discussion
It was a good TNF game all things considered

I had family fly back from Florida after a flight delay, so I only caught the very end, on radio. But I'm glad you got to watch a good game, especially given how much of a turd TNF was last season.

Yeah man TNF hasn't been that bad this season

Was that old friend Chad Wideleft or their Punter who fucked-up the KO?

Aaron Rodgers has always been solid at protecting the football during the majority of his career, but he's putting up his worst numbers so far with Pittsburgh in 2025...

Rodgers career turnover / sack %'s:
INT % - 1.4
Sack % - 6.49

Rodgers 2025 turnover / sack %'s:
INT % - 3.5
Sack % - 7.53

Also, it must be mentioned that the Vikings had 3 Turnovers in the 2024 London game vs Rodgers and he was sacked 3 times.

While Pittsburgh's defense has certainly won the majority of the turnover battles in the last 4 years, Rodgers seems to be turning it over and taking more sacks at a higher clip in 2025.

One key to this game: Wentz to protect the ball on offense, and for Flores to continue to generate turnovers on defense which could come through the pass-rush because Rodgers can be sacked this year. Time to smoke that Rodgers pack 🚬

Our season turns around tomorrow. Worthy will unleash MaGOAT and all the narrative surrounding our offense right now will be clownish takes.

Translation:

  • Gibson fumbles, too, and he can't be the long term RB1 because he gets hurt
  • Henderson hasn't learned to pass protect at the NFL level yet, is running scared and without vision, and can't be a long term RB1 because he gets hurt
  • There's nobody out on the FA market who can come in and be the RB1
I appreciate Hendo's tenacity for contact and bringing it to the defender but he does it too much. I want to see him juke and run around defenders when he's in the open.. he has that skill. We are stuck with Rham and Gibson for this year unfortunately.. They are both good backs, especially Rham who has looked really good (minus the fumbles) this year. They both just need to keep working on it and focus when they are about to take contact.

The team that loses will be 1-3, but still be considered a contender. I think THAT'S the clownish take.
