SB 60 Postgame Thread: Now that the beating is finished

We ignored the warning signs because a "win is a win" during the playoffs, but I didn't think the offense would completely implode. I don't think Seattle is that good, it was just NE had the worst OL since KC against Tampa Bay. These two were the worst OL's I've ever seen in the playoffs or Super Bowl.

Look for a complete overhaul along the OL during the offseason. We don't want this to turn into a Andrew Luck situation with Maye. I expect Wilson to sit for a year while they bring in a veteran FA to start at LG. C needs an upgrade as well. Owenu most likely stays unless they come to an agreement with another G they like in FA. Moses is on notice. Campbell stays at LT because of his draft status. He needs to get stronger at the base flat out! He was getting pushed around prior to his injury, but was able to recover somewhat to allow Maye to throw.

I still think Diggs is gone unless he takes a pay cut. We are in a dire situation with the OL and need to apply the money elsewhere. Paying a guy who's restricted to the slot and is only marginally better than Meyers is not a good use of money. Both of their kryptonite was man coverage. We were upset that BB didn't re-sign Welker, but we're okay to have them pay Diggs at his age? I think he will accept the reduced salary because he doesn't want to be a journeyman.

We would've been better-off this season with Kelvin Banks at LT and Strange69 at LG... And wasn't the only reason Armand Membou played Right Tackle was because his QB was Left-handed? Stumpy's gonna end-up being the 3rd-best OT in this draft, though he was the very first one taken...
I also agree that everyone on the OL should be a possible candidate to lose his job. Everyone.
