SB 60 Postgame Thread: Now that the beating is finished

Maye is going to get injured often. That’s just the reality at the position and especially with his style of play. He’ll need to figure out how to be as effective as possible when he’s ailing.
Hopefully he gets a quick passing game goijg

There is a difference between making excuses and giving a reason why something happened.

For example, in the 2023 NFC championship game, when Purdy tore his elbow and the other idiot got concussed, the QB injury is the reason they were not able to win the game. FACT. It is not an excuse. It does not mean that the game has an asterix or does not count.

If Will truly has a torn ligament, then that is the reason he was getting put on skates every rep. Looking back, before his injury we were saying we had the LT position solved for a decade or so. Why the big change? Did teams figure out his weaknesses and abuse them or was his body unable to maintain his style of play due to injury?

So he's Will to you, that's how far you're up his ass?

yea we went from a dumpster fire doormat team and offense to having a top 5 offense this year with a 2nd year QB

firing McDaniels is a great way to expedite our return to the bottom feeders of the NFL

Skippy might be a good teacher; but he's a Fucking HORRIBLE big-game play-caller. The bigger the game, the more predictable he becomes.

Thanks to the Seahawks for that valuable information. Drake Maye will use this info to destroy them in Super Bowl 61 to the tune of 350 yards, 4 TDs, 0 turnovers, and 31 points.

The offense needs some serious adjusting, either in terms of the racial construction or the scheme. It was abundantly clear that the receivers were not able to read what the defense was doing on Sunday, and throughout most of the postseason. They were not on the same page as Maye.

If you are going to run this sort of offense that requires the receivers to have a brain, you need to get some high caliber white WRs/TEs, like we had with Edelman, Amendola, and Gronk.

If you are going to continue relying on black receivers, you need to make the offense less complex.

I am inclined to go with the second option, because finding talented white receivers is difficult. Any team that already has one will hold on to them for dear life, because they are so valuable.

Go get AJ Brown, and then simplify this offense. Drake Maye is talented enough that we don't have to win with scheme alone. Just get him some weapons, improve his protection, and let him sling the ball all over the field.
