This song is amazing to listen to loud, especially toward the end when the singer displays his vocal pipes.
It also tells the tale of one of my favorite Bible stories from Acts 16 when Paul and Silas were imprisoned in Philippi.

I rented it last night.. It's brutal. I agree with you now, I'm not sure The Chosen will go with that level of brutality.. but I think with the character development and familiarity with them, plus being in English, it'll probably be a more emotional watch.
I attended that one. Honestly, it was well done, but I thought it was a bit much. We did a concert series last year for the Passion service that was much better.
and even then the historical accounts of the crucifixion was even more brutal than what the passion showed
