The thing is, Evolution and Creation work well together. God set it all in motion, the system that allowed for start and planet formation and the beginnings of life. Taking some parts of the Bible literally is a mistake. Define a day. He made the system and imbued us with reason and intellect and curiosity so we would dig deep and understand it.

Big Bang makes even less sense. Every miraculous and complex creature (from the word creation) came from an explosion of nothing? Everything in nature deteriorates. Entropy. It doesn't go the other way.
