He did well at picking up some of the more exotic stunts that Schwartz’s defense is known for as well. A good example of it is when he stoned Garrett then took the defender on the stunt and washed him completely out of the play, only for Garrett to not get picked up and get the sack. That wasn’t Campbell’s fault.

David Andrews was talking about what was happening, and he noticed something:

Campbell was not getting to the right place during chip plays. When Garrett was getting chipped, Campbell was staying too far away, which allowed Garrett to rev right back up, just from a different angle. Andrews noted that this changed later in the game, after Campbell had done some talking with the coaching staff, and Campbell was getting on top of Garrett after the chips. So, at least according to Andrews, those related sacks were a technique issue.
