6 throws of 20+ air yards sounds about right for 2 games. His 4 completions of 20+ air yards are 4 more than we had in the first 5 games. That he is so elite at the deep game already bodes well, as he will only get better.

6 attempts of 20+ air yards is normal for a 2 game total, and he has been elite at passing deep in those two games. Even more impressive given the surrounding talent and the fact that the WRs are getting almost no separation on these throws.
I watched it, he's shown he has the ability to make plays with his arm and legs. Sure he's been inconsistent, and his mechanics got away from him in that game.. but he's good enough to fine tune things on the job IMO. If he gets a little more help from the Oline and really the WR's, he's gonna be just fine.
Also I'm sure the offensive staff is watching his mechanics, it's been Maye's most notable issue and supposedly one this staffs strengths. So lets see it, lets see Maye clean it up week by week.

His footwork is inconsistent and often terrible. He's making a bunch of throws with his upper body completely open, which impacts both accuracy and the stresses put on the throwing shoulder. The guy who had a 70% completion rate despite multiple drops had accuracy issues last game? If that is the case, then every other QB in the NFL must be pure garbage. We are lucky to have the best one among them.
