After watching some film breakdowns of the game.. I'm excited to see more of this offense with Maye. I think it's the right move now to have him play. They are going to stink, that's fine. Let's find out who (of the young guys) can play and are worth keeping around. Especially at WR, OL and some of the younger defenders.
Looking at this Jags game, this team is very beatable. They are so ready to quit on the coach, if they haven't already. This is a road trip to get a W, and build some team confidence by drubbing the Jags and getting Pederson fired. Don't give up explosive plays to them, take care of the ball and this is an easy win.
Big time, MB and DK have it up to -6 Jags, makes no sense at all... Especially given the news Rham should play. Super fishy line, Jags have no defense, and a poor pass rush. Even with our line problems we should be able to score on them.

I think I get the idea (Patriots losses have been increasingly bad, Jacksonville has more talent, it's more of a home game for Jacksonville), but a full 6 points just doesn't smell right to me.

It opened in the Vegas-zone 5-5.5 but got bet up to 6. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it shift back before the game if some contrarian money comes in.
...“Jerod just said (post-game) everybody gotta check their ego when they come in. And I agree with him,” Ekuale said, as transcribed by the Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan. “I feel like a lot of guys think too highly of themselves, and have to check their ego and come in and just play as a team.
“I feel like if we play as a team nobody can stop us. But if we go out there and do our own thing, and play outside of the scheme, that’s when we get beat.”...
He’s already walking it back. He’s been a disaster from the jump. Might as well get started on firing this DEI hire and start the coaching search, because this assclown has likely already lost the locker room.
A day after saying the Patriots are “a soft football team,” Jerod Mayo clarified what seemed like a harsh message to his team.

During his regular appearance on WEEI’s “Greg Hill Show,” Mayo walked back his statement a bit. He stressed that the Patriots are playing soft right now, but have shown toughness at points this year.
“Let me just go ahead and correct that. We’re playing soft, OK?” Mayo said. “Because if you look at the first -- going back to training camp, there was definitely some toughness all around the place and we still had the same players and we just got to play that way.”
At the same time, good for Maye for not throwing his coach under the bus. Like I said in the GDT, Mayo isn’t wrong. We are a soft team. But don’t say that shit to the media, numbnuts.
Mayo‘s comments at the podium raised some eyebrows in the media. However, it didn’t come as a huge surprise to Patriots players.
“Coach Mayo’s not going to come in here and say something he hasn’t said to us in the locker room. We’re not tough,” quarterback Drake Maye said.

That’s what I always respected about Bill’s decision in the Super Bowl against the Eagles. We didn’t have the most talented team on the field that day, but god damnit… they were disciplined. We should get a participation trophy for being the most disciplined team in the Super Bowl that year. Great decision, Bill.
