Patriots news

So we get a little bit of draft/trade talk in the forum, after all. Cool!

Ok, so let's just compare, and see where you fall. What would be your preference (I won't massage the TE room in this because there's not enough depth there to be worried about who might end up on the outside looking in)?

  1. Current WR room + keeping all the picks
  2. Current WR room + AJ Brown - at least one WR (you'll need to make room by moving someone) and pick(s)
  3. Current WR room + AJ Brown and Pitts - at least one WR, the AJ Brown pick(s), and the Pitts pick(s)
I really don't want to lose Boutte but I would do it to have both Brown AND Pitts. That is too big of an upgrade to let pass IMO.

Vrabel is a horn dog lmao
Bro handled this story as bad as anyone could
One thing he did need to learn from bill that he didn't was how to keep it more on the d.l. bill only started slipping d.l. wise when he started screwing jordon.

thats the truth LOL....I mean the guy stuck his dick in a whore for free, if it were in Vegas it would have been legal. this new world of sadness and soft little pussy fucks that tattle tale on everything just to try and make a headline is a fucking joke. let the guys pound some strange, he is the one that has to deal with his broken marriage now.

It sounds like she's banged so many guys that he probably already banged her by the transitive property of sex.🤣

he fucked up by making it a story lol no need to miss day 3 wtf is he thinking
whoever his pr person is they should be fired

Brown, Doubs, Pop, Williams, Hollins + Rookie
Pitts, Henry + Rookie

Is a pretty good top of the depth chart.

Also lets not mistake Pitts for a TE, he's basically a huge slot WR who can also split out wide at times.

The only way #1 works is if you hit it in the draft on another WR, which has proven for us to be an absolute crap shoot over the years.. rookies arent reliable enough, its super rare that a rookie will make an impact Year 1, even from the 1st round

im generally not a fan of losing Boutte at all, he's 23 and has been a deep threat playmaker for us, and will only get better as he gets more chemistry and timing with Maye. That being said, if you get rid of Boutte you absolutely need someone like AJ Brown in his place

If Eagles have backed off of their 1st round pick requirement, i'd be ok with #3 in your scenario as Pitts would be day 2 picks and i dont think you'll get anyone in the draft at their talent level

but we still need offensive line help... if we have a repeat of the superbowl, we could have Jerry Rice and Randy Moss as our starters and not be able to move the ball

to be clear.. im still behind Vrabel and glad he's our coach

but cheating on his wife was a scumbag move, especially when he's trying to lecture players on woke ideology as some moral authority

Cheating on your wife is something I can completely understand. We've all been there.

But there is no need to cheat on your team with your wife. The team and the fanbase demand all of your time and attention, Mike. Smarten up and stop letting this minor incident affect the Dynasty.

Oh right, because the real lesson from Bill Belichick is “just hide it better,” not, you know… don’t put yourself in the situation to begin with.

That’s a wild standard. Like the problem isn’t the behavior, it’s the PR strategy.

And comparing Mike Vrabel to Belichick on morality like there’s some gold standard there is honestly laughable. One guy being more discreet than another isn’t exactly a moral benchmark.

“Didn’t execute the cover-up properly” isn’t the leadership takeaway you think it is.
