Patriots news

yea i wasnt even really upset that didnt call DPI there, but i was livid when they called way less on Marcus Jones and took an INT from us at an incredibly key point in the game. They dont call it consistently, and they gave them 2 or 3 flags on 3rd down in the 4th quarter to keep their drives alive that were ticky tack

but at the end of the day, giving up 5 straight touchdowns is sickening.. the refs gave them a couple extra chances, but the team still folded like a lawn chair
True, but those 2 or 3 gifts to the Bills by the refs probably changed the outcome of the game. That non PI alone was worth at least 3 points, but easily could've been 7.

Wilson alone makes it worth it, Judon was washed up... Swinson is developmental so we'll see on him

Chiefs are going to have a top 10-15 pick in 2026 draft, so that 4th rounder is nice as well

This front office have been stellar so far.. similar to the early 2000's drafts that fueled their success for 5+ years

I wonder if they just stuffed Wolfe into a locker while they took turns on his wife, and removed any decision making from him.. because 2024 draft was fucking horrendous with exception of Maye, which obviously i would trade an entire draft for Maye so that worked out, but still doesnt excuse all their horrendous picks in Rounds 2 thru 7

but this year... hard to have a better draft than they did this year.. they got 5 starters from this draft and a few who could develop into starters..

Campbell = pro bowl stud at LT for next 10+ years
Henderson = all pro caliber stud at RB who is a serious threat anywhere on the field
Kyle Williams = wait and see, going thru some development and isnt needed right away with all the veterans ahead of him, but has henderson level athleticism.. all the tools to be elite, just needs to develop a bit and master the offensive scheme
Jared Wilson = starting quality Guard/Center
Craig Woodson = starter quality safety, has shown some glimpses of what could be, hasnt been a liability.. cant ask for more in day 3 of draft
Joshua Farmer = could be solid rotational player, hasnt been needed with all the veteran talent ahead of him.. good developmental prospect for day 3
Swinson = developmental prospect, wait and see
Borregales = solid kicker for round 6, has been fairly reliable this season (was a little scary in preseason, but he's been solid regular season with some big kicks)
Asby = starting quality specialist long snapper in round 7
Marcus Bryant = unnkown.. late round developmental prospect at OT
Kobee Minor = same as bryant, wait and see.. no expectations for late 7th rounder

and they nailed it on every single one of their free agent signings... vrabels familiarity with the Titans players helped a lot, they've all been solid and consistent contributors, and Milton Williams playing at elite level
