We are currently picking #3. Picking #1 or #2 would be great to take advantage of the inevitable scramble for the two QB's projected to go early. We have Buf, LAC, Buf remaining.
The two teams ahead of us:
NYG - Atl, Ind, Phi
LAR - Jax, NO, LAC
Atlanta and Indy will be favored by 6 points or so, but both teams are fully capable of choking. Maybe Phi will have nothing to play for in the final week. There is hope.
The Raiders can beat Jax and the Saints. If the Chargers win their next two games, they may have nothing to play for either.
Of course, we run the risk of Buffalo having nothing to play for. A KC loss with Mahomo is hobbled would ensure Buffalo will play to win. Cheer for Giants and Raiders wins the next few weeks.
I don't necessarily disagree. If we can get a draft haul trading down a little and still getting the LT? Great. Otherwise, I want the BPA. A good enough LT can be gotten in FA or 2nd Round. If LT is BPA, do it. But this team need elite talent, no matter the position.
