While it doesn't seem possible, the Jets actually have plenty of draft picks moving forward, and they've got some real talent on that team. I'm sure things will change between now and next year (I don't exactly need to be Kreskin to get that right) but, if Rodgers' Achilles gets better, and his game improves, we could be hearing "This is the year!" from Jets fans again next season.

This year it seems as though the QB draft class is in fact really good. All the top guys have shown they can play and process, even Nix has been pretty good and I think chances are good for Penix and McCarthy to turn out.

This year it seems as though the QB draft class is in fact really good. All the top guys have shown they can play and process, even Nix has been pretty good and I think chances are good for Penix and McCarthy to turn out.

I don't know if they're all good, though there's promise. But the Bears have a playoff-level team around Williams, the Redskins have a legit offense around Daniels, the Broncos have given Nix a legit defense to support him, and the Patriots are a tire fire. So we've got a splash of everything, in terms of how they've been supported.

He's good when he's got a great OL, a strong running game, and multiple high end receivers. If you take any of those away, he becomes mediocre in a hurry.
