I actually got free tickets to go to this game and saw that. I didn’t watch the Olympics this year so I didn’t get it, but that’s great. I have no clue whatsoever what Mac was trying to do there.

I will never understand why quarterbacks leave a clean pocket and I think any quarterback who turns his back and runs away from a clean pocket is a dumbass. He’s talented, but he needs to put the work in. Maye has two less touchdowns on a significantly worse team in lesser starts. If this year’s pass protection doesn’t ruin him, the early returns say we may have gotten the right guy of the two. We still won’t know for sure for about 3 years or so, or until we upgrade the LT position (at the very least) and the two outside receiver positions. But so far, so good.
