I'd love to see someone here do a "Survivor " pool. That's where you pick 1 team to win each week, but you can't use the same team twice. Once your team loses, you're out of the pool. I'd do it but I'm very computer illiterate.

my father a long time ago thru his work had a cool weekly pickem league

You would have to pick who would win each week, but you also had to assign a point value to that pick 1-16. So if you picked Chiefs over Browns and assigned your 16 point for that game, you would get +16 points

So all your picks were basically weighted, and whoever had the most points won that week (dont remember if they did a season point champion). It was a fun way to do weekly pickem, ive never seen it done since

I dont think you lost points, you just didnt earn those points

you could only assign 1 pick as a 16 pointer, 1 as a 15, 1 as 14.. etc.. all the way down to 1 point which would be the one you were the most unsure on

so it just went by total points you gained for the week to determine winner
