See when you overspend and don’t put a value on a guy you miss out. Eff a market I would put a market on a guy and I am not paying more because of lack of drafting and development.

They say patience is a virtue and we already blew our wad on aging players like Jonathan Allen etc etc.., plus guys who had a small sample size like Fries.

Then when a legit guy comes along like Lawrence you already tricked off your assets. Draft and develop talent and only let tons of assets go when it’s a no brainer. Instead we pounce on the first thang smoking and saying well it’s what was available and the cost, Never approach team building like that. I hated last offseason draft and free agency. Do better!
